This includes Item abilities like a magic scroll\u2026you would need to turn your focus from your Armor\/Gear ability and onto the scroll\u2026 during which time your Armor\/Equipment ability is not active. Max cumulative Defense Bonus of 9 at any time<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ex. If you have \u201cRoller Shoes\u201d boots that allow you more distance when walking, then your beautiful cloak which gives a bonus to Charisma would not be active while you are walking extended distance. If you enter a town and aren\u2019t actively using your special boots\u2026 then the Charisma bonus from your cloak can be active.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Armor<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are trained in <strong>Armor<\/strong> you can gain bonuses to your <strong>Defense<\/strong> based on your Armor. Bonuses from different pieces of armor do not stack (your highest bonused armor piece grants you the bonus). Max of a +3 Bonus for Armor. Without training armor can be decoratively worn with no benefits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Armor<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Weak Armor- no bonus<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Basic Armor- +1 to Defense<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mastercraft Armor- +2<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Enchanted Armor- +2 with an ability<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Named Armor- +3 with an ability<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Shield<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are trained in <strong>Shield<\/strong> you can gain bonuses to your <strong>Defense<\/strong>. <strong>Shield<\/strong> also grants the ability to <strong>Defend<\/strong> your neighboring party members with the <strong>Defend<\/strong> Action. Max of a +3 Bonus for Shield.
