The Faefree
The High Magic realm of the Faerie Folk. The realm is split between four seasons and two courts. The Seelie Court (Light Faerie surrounded with Satyrs, Centaurs, etc) and Unseelie Court (Malicious Faerie surrounded with Goblins, Witches, etc) can both be found in the Winter, Spring, Summer, and Autumn regions of the Faefree.
The Faefree can be accessed by anyone with Weirding magic opening a portal by asking a reflective surface politely with a rhyme. This can be a mirror or standing water… something reflective.
Time passes by its own rules in the Faefree. A day within the Faefree may only be a second on Vega or it could be weeks of time. Spatial direction is also warped. Upon entering the Faefree from any location each seasonal region is accessible by walking North, South, East, or West for one hour.
Fae creatures often shift between the Faefree and Vega.
“Forest Paths” grant access to enter Faefree in your local season, travel to, and exit any other season.
From any point in the Faefree you would be centered compass to get to any season within 2 days. No time or double time will pass in Vega.
Trolls and Goblins are common in the Faefree, also speaking animals of the ancient world continue as speaking Faefolk, such as Frogs, Rabbits, Foxes. Unblessed who enter the Faefree may become trapped and eventually lose their form, turning into sentient plants or small animals.
An attack on an inhabitant of the Faefree (or any Fae beings in Vega) has a +1 Bonus if the weapon is iron.
